The beginning
High in the remote Honduran mountains, a dying man fights against time and despair. His mission is clear—secure a future for his three children before the darkness claims him. Fifteen years later, the youngest child is grown and longs to claim her American citizenship. Initiating this process, however, reveals a long-buried, deadly secret hidden away in a mountain forest.
